Guide #47332
I am a fourth generation Idahoan born and raised near the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. If you give me an Idaho french fry dipped in huckleberry ice cream, I'll follow you anywhere. I grew up around a camp fire on stories of bear encounters and family history. My great-grandfather operated a sawmill in Island Park and participated in renovating the Old Faithful Inn. My Aunt married a leader in the local Sho-Ban tribe. For this reason, I have been able to gather history of both trappers and Native Americans who are the foundation to the area. I love seeing my home through the eyes of visitors. For this reason, I'll listen to your interests and try to take you to the local niches along the tour route that match your desires. Please feel free to contact me if you desire a more customized experience! University of Wyoming Outdoor Guide Certification. Authorized Permittee of the National Park Service. U.S. Department of Interior guide card holder for Yellowstone National Park. CPR/First Aid/Foodhandler certified. None.
