I am a fourth generation Idahoan born and raised near the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. If you give me an Idaho french fry dipped in huckleberry ice cream, I'll follow you anywhere. I grew up around a camp fire on stories of bear encounters and family history. My great-grandfather operated a sawmill in Island Park and participated in renovating the Old Faithful Inn. My Aunt married a leader in the local Sho-Ban tribe. For this reason, I have been able to gather history of both trappers and Native Americans who are the foundation to the area. I love seeing my home through the eyes of visitors. For this reason, I'll listen to your interests and try to take you to the local niches along the tour route that match your desires. Please feel free to contact me if you desire a more customized experience! University of Wyoming Outdoor Guide Certification. Authorized Permittee of the National Park Service. U.S. Department of Interior guide card holder for Yellowstone National Park. CPR/First Aid/Foodhandler certified. None.

Growing up in the park has taught me how to read the terrain and wildlife in a way that is intuitive. Every tour takes into consideration who is on the tour and the changing conditions of the park to give you the best experience possible! Spend the morning with me as we visit some of the most iconic photography spots in the park! As we go through the area, I will bring together the unique Shoshone and tribal history of the area and their first encounters with the trappers that settled here. My uncle, Larry Teton, has passed down oral traditions to me of where this was their hunting grounds and I can't wait to share it with you. Mormon Row is one of the most photographed barns in the world due to the location of the barns next to the Teton Mountains. Schwabacher's landing is unmatched in beauty as it captures the reflection of the mountains off the water. We'll also explore wildlife and spot them through our scope and binoculars. This tour is a great way to see many things you could not find on your own
*Morning Departure from your hotel (7 A. M. ) *Take the Moose-Wilson Road to catch morning glimpses of wildlife *Visit Mormon Row and Schwabacher's Landing *Jenny Lake *Continue around the southern loop and explore wildlife *Return to your hotel
