Growing up just outside of New York City, my father inspired my love for nature and the great outdoors, especially the mountains. As a child, I spent a lot of time in the Adirondack Mountains (the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire) skiing, snowmobiling, biking, and hiking. My love for our national parks and the rivers of the west started soon after moving to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in my early 20s. Living in the Colorado Rockies I quickly fell in love with guiding and outfitting. After spending years guiding everything from river tours to snowmobile adventures, I decided to start my own company and fully immerse myself in the outfitting/tour industry. I have decades of experience as a river guide, safety kayaker, bike guide, snowmobile guide, and guiding interruptive and educational tour, offering adventure and interpretive experiences to thousands of folks over 3 decades. These years have enabled me to accrue an extensive knowledge of the mountains' beauty, flora, and wildlife. Guiding is not only my profession but also my lifestyle. I have extensive experience guiding in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains and the Yellowstone ecosystem and surrounding areas, and it makes my day to lead nature lovers here. Love of the National Parks and great outdoors is infectious, and I love nothing more than seeing how excited people get when visiting the incredible place I call home. The best thing about spending so much time in one of the most incredible and beautiful places on earth is sharing it with others. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are a true soul center for me. Being able to spend time meeting and getting to know wonderful people from all over the world is special. Being able to do so in a place I love so much, makes me one of the luckiest people in the world. I could not think of a better way to make a living. Being a small knowledgeable outfitter enables me to provide a customizable experience maximizing our time in the national parks soaking in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. I would like nothing more than to spend time with you and your group experiencing the unique wildlife and natural wonders of this incredible area firsthand. Yellowstone's 2 day tour is my most extensive excursion, which includes an exploration of the park's Upper & Lower Loops. Spending 2 days in here really gives you the opportunity to explore Yellowstone National Park's most of the park, covering its famous geothermal & natural features as well as its wildlife. Don't miss out on this opportunity to soak in this park with all its wonders. I can customize the tour to take advantage of your interests and help you become immersed in the Yellowstone experience. Spending time in the Lamar Valley and more remote areas of the park will allow for better opportunity to see more wildlife and off the beaten path sites. With over 2. 2 million acres, 2 days is still not enough, but it's a great start to tour the park without feeling rushed. You'd be in good company with me, considering I'm a rescue & Certified Guide that also holds a a First Aid and CPR Certificate, and even integrated the Board of America Outdoors Association.
