All Day Yellowstone National Park Adventure

This day is jam-packed with travel, loads of background information, incredible visual experiences and surprises of all sorts, depending on circumstances, approx 9-11 hours, depending on weather and traffic. With over 40 years of fly-fishing experience professionally and 50 years of extensive travel in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, I have covered enough ground in the past three seasons alone doing ecotours in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks to cross the United States 10 times. Yet, no two trips are ever the same! We will cover the lower loop of the Yellowstone including the Old Faithful geyser, Grand Prismatic hot spring and Excelsior geyser crater, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone waterfalls, hot pools, paint pots, and wildlife opportunities in route taking full advantage of timing and conditions along the way. As well as major points of interests that may include the Firehole Lake Loop, Lower Geyser Basin, and Firehole Canyon Drive.

Departure: • 7:00 am. or 7:30 am. departures available (depending on starting location) Jackson, Wyoming or West Yellowstone, Montana The famed lower loop of the Yellowstone includes: • the Old Faithful geyser • Grand Prismatic hot spring • Excelsior geyser crater and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone waterfalls Other major points of interest we see may include: • Old Faithful known as the Upper Geyser Basin area • Midway Geyser Basin area • Firehole Lake Loop • Lower Geyser Basin area • Fountain Paint Pots • Firehole River Canyon and others (depending on future openings after the flood) Return: • 4:30 p. m. to 6:30 p. m. (approx.) Return to your hotel Note: Remember, these are private tours. We are happy to tailor the tour to your interest and stamina. While most people find that 8 hours is a very full day, it is not possible to complete the loop in that period of time, however, it is shorter from West Yellowstone. * Sightseeing will include min walking for viewing and photographic opportunities
