Growing up just outside of New York City, my father inspired my love for nature and the great outdoors, especially the mountains. As a child, I spent a lot of time in the Adirondack Mountains (the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire) skiing, snowmobiling, biking, and hiking. My love for our national parks and the rivers of the west started soon after moving to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in my early 20s. Living in the Colorado Rockies I quickly fell in love with guiding and outfitting. After spending years guiding everything from river tours to snowmobile adventures, I decided to start my own company and fully immerse myself in the outfitting/tour industry. I have decades of experience as a river guide, safety kayaker, bike guide, snowmobile guide, and guiding interruptive and educational tour, offering adventure and interpretive experiences to thousands of folks over 3 decades. These years have enabled me to accrue an extensive knowledge of the mountains' beauty, flora, and wildlife. Guiding is not only my profession but also my lifestyle. I have extensive experience guiding in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains and the Yellowstone ecosystem and surrounding areas, and it makes my day to lead nature lovers here. Love of the National Parks and great outdoors is infectious, and I love nothing more than seeing how excited people get when visiting the incredible place I call home. The best thing about spending so much time in one of the most incredible and beautiful places on earth is sharing it with others. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are a true soul center for me. Being able to spend time meeting and getting to know wonderful people from all over the world is special. Being able to do so in a place I love so much, makes me one of the luckiest people in the world. I could not think of a better way to make a living. Being a small knowledgeable outfitter enables me to provide a customizable experience maximizing our time in the national parks soaking in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. I would like nothing more than to spend time with you and your group experiencing the unique wildlife and natural wonders of this incredible area firsthand. Yellowstone's Lower Loop is the Park's most popular excursion. With a morning pick-up to make the most of our day together, we'll enjoying the early morning sun shining on the Teton Mountains, as we travel through Grand Teton National Park, heading to Yellowstone. The Teton Mountains are among the world's most photographed majestic ranges. On this tour, we'd circle the Lower Loop which encompasses several of Yellowstone National Park's most famous geothermal features such as the Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful Geyser, Norris Geyser Basin & Volcano Mud Pots. The Lower Loop also includes natural wonders like Yellowstone Lake, the Upper and Lower waterfalls, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. It's worth noting we'd visit the Hayden Valley, home wildlife such as to elk, eagles, bighorn sheep, moose, wolf, mule deer as well as one of the largest herds of bison (buffalo) in the park.
