Grand Teton National Park Half Day Tour Large Groups

Majestic mountains form a backdrop while searching for bison, elk, moose, pronghorn, bear, and birds of prey. A few of the many areas we will visit may include Elk Flats to view wildlife in a classic prairie setting, famed Jenny Lake with its bucolic views of the lake and mountains, Willow Flats, Pilgrim Creek in search of grizzly, or Mormon Row to visit the historic barns with their iconic background. We will visit Jackson Lake Lodge with its breathtaking views, and perhaps take a short stroll along String Lake (you will see why). Over the course of the day we will revisit the historic significance from the first European exploration by John Colter in 1807 and his interactions with the various native American cultures. I am anxious to share with you how the the unique cultural and geologic history shaped the Grand Teton National Park. We will explore how the pristine Snake River headwaters play an important role in the challenge of climate change today.
