I will talk about Sweet Auburn Avenue and how this segregated street prospered in the face of segregation and we will stop at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Park. You will learn how a young leader born in Atlanta changed the world and the segregated south forever. You will see Centennial Olympic Park and the 1996 Olympic Stadium. You will also learn why Atlanta is called the Hollywood of the South and see the some film sites of your favorite movies and tv shows.

Our Atlanta Layover Tour done by Rodger was excellent, very informative and just wonderful. We ate at a place where "locals" eat. Rodger have given us a lot of background information about all the places we visited. We were also dropped off on time at the airport. Just a wonderful experience overall.

This was one of the 4 tours I did with Roger. Something I did on the last day as my flight was leaving in the afternoon. He took me to Cyclorama, Atlanta History Center, and the Stone Mountains. He made sure I got to see everything and made sure I caught my flight back home. If you are in transit, you can certainly have Roger arrange a visit to all those places.

Very informative! Roger knows his stuff about the Civil Rights movement and Atlanta as a whole. We spent the entire day with Roger (9:00 - 4:00) and enjoyed every minute of it. He picked us up and dropped us off at our Airbnb. Answered every question we had and kept the pace of the tour engaging. Highly recommend!
