Hello travellers! My name is Carlos and I work as an official tour guide in the city where I was born: Seville. I am in love with my city and its thousand-year-old history, so I feel lucky to be able to transmit my passion for Seville through my profession. Since I was very young, I knew I wanted to become a tour guide, so I prepared myself thoroughly for it. I completed a University degree in Tourism and later a University Master's Degree in History and Heritage. When I finished my studies, I made the decision to go live abroad to continue my education and learn about other cultures, and I went to live in the United Kingdom. I spent 3 years living in different cities on the British Isles, such as London and Edinburgh. Thanks to my job, I can daily pursue personal hobbies that come from my profession, such as art, architecture, literature, languages, meeting new people and my greatest passion: showing my city to visitors. I love making my visits a memorable experience for my clients. Travelling to Seville is an experience that will make your senses vibrate. For many people, one of the most beautiful cities in the world... The setting for great blockbusters such as Star Wars or Game of Thrones. The birthplace of great artists. The city of Opera (Carmen, Don Giovanni, etc.), the Gate to the Americas... It is a city full of art and history in every corner, and what better way to discover all its secrets than with the help of a local tour guide with years of experience like me, who will make your visit in Seville a much more comfortable, enriching and fun experience.

The Jewish quarter of Seville was located in the current Santa Cruz neighborhood, next to the Real Alcazar and is probably one of the largest and oldest in all of Spain. It was occupied by Jews from 1248 to 1492. It had up to 4,000 inhabitants, among them some very influential people in the city such as doctors, scientists, bankers and scribes. The old Jewish quarter of Seville survives today in symbols, street names, legends and architectural details, which remind us of the past of this community. It is a place full of beauty, hidden secrets and mystery. And what better way to discover them all than with the help of a local guide like me who will reveal all its enigmas to you!
