Welcome to my personal page. My name is María, I am 46 and deeply passionate about my city. What to say about Seville, besides being the place where I have lived all my life I am passionate about this beautiful place. I take pride in my job and I feel a very lucky person to make my work a passion, not everyone can say that! Seville is one of the few cities that immediately and completely fulfils the expectations of visitors. It reflects everyone's first mental of Spain, bullfights, bodegas, wrought-iron balconies, fountains, moorish arabesques, ceramic tiles, flamenco. . . It is the blinding colours of Seville, more than anything else, that set it apart. The ever-present blue sky remains deep blue, rarely dissolving into the summer haziness of the Mediterranean coast. Much of the city is shaded by orange trees, their leaves remaining emerald green all year round. The oranges themselves provide additional speckles of colour during the cooler months, and towards the end of March the voluptuous scent of their blossom duels with, and defeats, the heavy perfumes favoured by the travellers. I also love cooking, in Spain we have a very rich gastronomy, that is why I offer you the gastronomic tour and class. If you come to my city I recommend you to do a ride in a horse carriage. You will be delighted with this enchantment form of seeing the monumental area. An original way to know Seville, ideal for your first day here. Accompany me, in a very short time to see the best places from another perspective in a very traditional transportation method. It will be very attractive to see with Romero (our horse) and Miguel (our chauffeur) the most interesting areas of the ibero-american exhibition of 1929 in Seville. Those bildings we will visit from outside in Maria Luisa Park, they have a very special architecture. Do not miss them! And of course, the most important monuments in the city
A must do! A great way to kick off a trip to Sevilla. Both our guide and the tour are excellent. Maria is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that she deserves a special thanks. Would totally recommend.
Maria has great knowledge of Seville and presents it in a fun way! We had access to see a traditional patio home design because of her local connections. Maria is fluent in English and tells interesting tales throughout the tour. The horse and carriage she usually uses broke down, and the substitute driver shorted us on time, but Maria helped us see many interesting sites at a walking pace that accommodated my 82 year old mother. Thanks, Maria!
How very special. Maria did a great job of customizing the tour for us so that we had a relaxing carriage ride, saw a wonderful Flamenco show and enjoyed a delicious tapas dinner. The Plaza de Espana is amazing. We again learned so much about Seville. This tour was a great complement to the tour we took with Clara.
The Seville by horse drawn carriage is a wonderful overview of this magnificent gem of a city. Maria is an exceptional guide with encyclopedic knowledge of her native city. We arrived in Seville in early afternoon and used this tour as a sort of road map for the all day tour we took with Maria the next day. The carriage was waiting for us all by itself in the middle of Kansas City Square... just a picture perfect moment! Maria is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone.
