Welcome to Seville: the Port of the Indies, door to America and city of the Opera! My name is Enrique and I invite you to live together a unique experience where you will find mixed history and art with important doses of humour, legends and traditions. Let me show you the mystery and magic of this city through my stories and anecdotes! After getting a diploma in tourism from the University of Seville (1992), I started my career as a tour guide in 1993, when I obtained my official license. I combined this profession with other jobs in the industry, including travel agencies and hotels, always looking for new challenges. Due to personal events, I joined my family business in 2000, working in the industrial market, something different from what I have done in the past. The good side was that I got to travel a lot, attending trade shows and strengthening business partnerships with several factories abroad. Because of this, I lived for six months in Turkey, three months in Morocco and one month in Romania. I frequently visited countries like Germany, Italy and France as well. This period of my life contributed to my personal growth, giving me the tools to better understand diverse cultures, and to widen my horizons, seeing history and culture from different points of view. Back in Seville, I decided to come back to my beloved profession of tourist guide, being fully dedicated to it for the last nine years. So if you want to get a local perspective of the city, come with me and don't waste your valuable time in long queues to visit our monuments. Seville has got a lot to see, so a first approach to its general history and culture is highly recommended before visiting the inside of its monuments. That's what I propose with this tour, good for the visitor who wants an overview to choose later which places to know better. Are you ready? With the help of a private car to reach the different points, we will start with the fascinating Plaza de España. Let me show you all the symbology of this spectacular site. We will walk through the riverside, a place that once was the door to America. Golden Tower, bullring and the neighbourhood of Triana considered the cradle of Flamenco music where you will learn more about this amazing folklore. Let me take you to Macarena Church, with its venerated image of Mary and to The Santa Cruz neighbourhood, the old Jewish quarter. Its medieval streets will take us into the Jewish heritage of Seville. We will finish by"Plaza del Triunfo", where are located the Alcazar, Cathedral and General Archive of the Indies.

Our group of 5 did a private city tour of Seville and we could not have been happier with our experience. We came during Holy Week when there are a lot of closures but our guide, Enrique Dueñas, found plenty to show us in his beautiful city. We had a wonderful tour with Enrique. He was knowledgeable, accommodating of our needs ( my husband has a bad back and can’t walk distances) and provided great information about the key sites of Seville. In addition he was easy to communicate with before we arrived and very responsive to our questions.
Enrique was kind enough to accommodate my wishes and abandon our itinerary in order to spend our brief time together walking through the gorgeous annual April Fair with myriad tents belonging to many local families. Including a visit to his own family's tent. We saved touring to major sites for our next day together
