Hi there! I'm Carlos, former world traveller, creative entrepreneur and now official licensed tour guide! Being a former cabin crew for a major airline has given me the edge to get to know different cultures and people all over the planet, this and also, having a Bachelor in History and Anthropology by the University of Sevilla has given me a deep understanding of the rich and ancient Culture of this land. Now that I've decided to hang my wings-sort of speaking- as an official licensed tour guide so you can truly experience the beauties of this 2800 years old city. Gateway to the New World, Seville still holds that flair, that uniqueness that makes a traveller always wanting to come back. whether if its architecture, History, flamenco, Renaissance, Barroco what you are looking for, or if you are a foodie, then this city has you covered. And a local guide would offer you that edge, that point of view that can open the path to new ideas, hey! the great Opera Carmen was inspired by a book that was inspired by the idiosincrasy of this city! move like a local, away from the beaten path. But of course, some things are a must. Like the Alcazar or the Cathedral. So come with me we'll skip lines and live the experience with a twist! This city is 2800 years old. The first one that build it's walls was Julius Cæsar himself before he became Emperor because he simply fell in love with it! A few centuries later the city still keeps its charm and makes every visitor fall in love with it. This tour starts with a private visit to Plaza de España, a landmark on itself, A place that was built for the Iberoamerican Expo of 1929, 100 years later it still attracts and marvel travelers as if it was the first day. Then the former Jewish neighborhood. With its narrow cobblestone streets will charm you again and again where I will narrate all the love and tragic personal stories that have happened inside. Then the Cathedral of Seville, Where Christopher Columbus is buried. after this a walk to the river, where all began for this city and where all its glory came from. We will finish our tour at the Torre del Oro (golden Tower) the name is wrongly believed that it was from storing gold coming from America. That's not true, the origin is more prosaic!
-Hotel pick up -Walk to Plaza España -Walk to/through Jewish neighborhood -Private visit to Cathedral -Walk along the river -Back to hotel or Farewell This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
