I’m a licensed hiking guide specialized in the Camino de Santiago. Although I was born in Barcelona, I’ve had a deep connection with Santiago and the Camino for many years—long before making this stunning city my home. After several years working in computer programming, I decided to follow my true passions: travelling, being immersed in nature, and connecting with people from all around the world. This journey led me to guide both cultural and hiking tours across Spain, Portugal, and Italy, with a particular focus on the Camino de Santiago, a path that has profoundly shaped both my personal and professional life. Galicia, the region where Santiago is located, is truly remarkable. It is a land of lush landscapes, deep green forests, and rugged coastlines, with nature that feels untamed and pure. The region is rich in historical and cultural heritage, where ancient traditions, Celtic roots, and medieval architecture are deeply embedded in everyday life. It’s a place where nature and history come together to create an unforgettable atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking to connect with the land and its stories. My bond with Santiago grew stronger with each arrival as a pilgrim, and eventually, it became clear that this city was where I truly belonged. I’ve now made Santiago de Compostela my home, and I’m passionate about sharing my perspective and love for this incredible region with travellers from all over the world. I don’t offer a typical city tour; I offer an authentic experience—one that combines personal storytelling, deep insight into the culture and nature of Galicia, and the spirit of the Camino. If you want to discover Santiago de Compostela and Galicia through the eyes of someone who has walked these paths many times and now calls this land home, I’d be honoured to guide you.

Overview of your Santiago De Compostela tour

Discover one of Spain’s most mystical routes from Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre, once thought to be the edge of the known world. This private tour takes you along Galicia’s stunning Atlantic coast, visiting fishing villages, historic landmarks, and natural wonders. It offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, culture, and ocean views. Together we will explore Muros, with its stone streets and medieval charm, and Carnota, where we'll see one of Galicia’s longest traditional hórreos—granaries reflecting the region’s farming heritage. But we'll be heading towards the water as well. We'll gaze at the Ézaro Waterfall, where fresh water falls into the sea, and also reach the Finisterre Lighthouse, perched on cliffs overlooking the ocean, a site that has drawn pilgrims for centuries. For me, this tour is more than places—it’s about feeling the landscape. Standing at the lighthouse, gazing at the horizon, I find a peaceful sense of wonder that truly stays with me.

Your Santiago De Compostela tour itinerary

-After we've gathered, we'll go on an approximately hour long drive towards the municipality of Muros. -On arrival, we'll walk through the historic centre with its rustic stone houses and narrow streets. -After Muros, we'll visit Carnota, a unique symbol of rural architecture and one of the longest hórreos in Galicia. -Next, we'll take in the views of the Ézaro Waterfall from a scenic lookout point. -Following this, we'll reach Finisterre town, where we could take a break from touring to enjoy a traditional Galician lunch at a local restaurant. -After lunch, our final stop before returning to Santiago de Compostela would be the iconic Finisterre Lighthouse, located at what was once believed to be the "End of the World." (Optional Extension: Muxía town and its Sanctuary of the Virgin of The Boat. If you wanted to add this experience to the tour, please contact me before booking and I'd send you a customized version of it for a different cost).

Meeting location

Praza do Obradoiro, Santiago de Compostela, Spain

My suggested meeting point would be at Plaza del Obradoiro, right in front of the entrance to the Parador Hostal dos Reis Católicos Hotel, but I can be flexible with the meeting point to make things easier for you. If Praza do Obradoiro wasn't convenient for you, I could pick you up directly from your hotel—whether you’re in Santiago de Compostela or nearby towns like A Coruña.
