I'm a licensed tourist guide of Galicia since 2010 and I have been working as a guide since 2014. I was born in a fishing town near Finisterre, the Spanish land's end and I live now in Santiago de Compostela, where I work as a local guide and tour leader. I have lived in Cork, Ireland, a country I love, and I also spent some time working in the French Britanny and Cuba. I have a broad range of interests. I have a deep passion for nature, animals and environmental causes, which explains my love for hiking. I have lead some walking trips along the Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago) many times. I'm interested in ethnography, music, history, art, ecology, gender and I'm also quite curious about languages, specially minority ones. I think being a guide is a very rewarding proffesion. I have always being an adventurous soul and this job gives me the opportunity to work outdoors and not just travelling but experiencing the trip more in depth, inmersing myself in the local culture. Every trip I lead is a master for me and really rewarding. In all this time, I have seen how this corner of the Spanish northwest has become less unknown in the world thanks to the Camino de Santiago, which has always been a link between cultures. Galicia maintains many of its ancestral traditions, which combined with its historical and artistic heritage, its gastronomy, its almost 1. 500 km of rugged and peaceful coasts and the open character of its inhabitants make it a top-level tourist destination. One of the most unknown Celtic nations, Galicia offers travelers everything they can wish for. Do you want to discover it? Licensed tourist guide of Galicia None

If you like nature and you would like to experience the last kilometres of this ancient pilgrimage route this is your tour. We will be driving to Finisterre along the beautifull and unspoiled coast "Costa da Morte", making stops in Carnota and Ézaro to see an unique waterfall in continental Europe. Then we will walk the last kilometres of the Way of St James until reaching the Cape Finisterre (Fisterra in Galician), considered to be the End of the World by the romans and thought to be the real end of the Way of St James. Once you reach the "km 0" milestone you will certainly enjoy the breathtaking scenary where many people perform the ritual of gazing the sunset, a metaphor of death and resurrection, a symbolic rite to start a new era of one's life.
We will make a stop at a vantage point in Paxareiras to gaze the beach of Carnota, chosen as one of the best beaches of Europe and the Pindo hill, called the Celtic Olympus of Galicia. - Before reaching Finisterre we will make a stop to visit the Ézaro waterfall, the only river in continental Europe ending as a waterfall directly to the ocean. - After this, we can walk the last 6 km of the pilgrimage way to Finisterre from the Langosteira beach to Cape Finisterre, the end of Earth. - It's possible to see the sunset* from the cape or from a boat at the feet of Finisterre Cape, a ritual performed by many pilgrims, enjoying tapas and some local drinks.
