Dear guests, My name is Begoña and I am a Licensed tour guide in Galicia, an amazing region in the northwest of Spain. I was born and raised in a little village located on the mountains of this undiscovered Spanish green corner. Later I got my degree in tourism in Barcelona and after spending some time in Brighton (U. K. ) I went back to Santiago de Compostela where I have been living for the last 20 years. If you wish to discover the hidden corners of Santiago, don't hesitate to CALL ME! We will do it together. Based on historic and art features of course, but also related to climate, food, legends and hundreds of other facts that have managed to consolidate the personality of this land and its people. You will understand it and enjoy it and I'll love showing it to you. Our tour will be friendly, enthusiastic, flexible and perfectly adapted to your timings. Even in cases of physically challenged guests, we will find the way to reach the little alleys of Santiago, with a laid-back approach. Should you be a family with kids, w'll make them to have fun (I believe I developped a knack for children since my own child was born). All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The tour is an unforgettable experience. COME & CALL. Looking forward to meeting you. Guide of tourism of Galicia (Spain) with License: GT-6-XG (license issued by the regional government of Galicia-Spain) I am not a driver guide. I will arrange transportation with a private driver for your tour if necessary.

The old town of Santiago de Compostela is one of the most beautiful and better preserved medieval european cities, designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1985. Located at the end of Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago), is one of the most important pilgrimage routes in the world. Thousands and thousands of pilgrims walk towards Santiago de Compostela every year. All of them that I met enjoy the experience indeed. During the visit we will focus in the story of Sant James the Great, whose tomb is inside the catedral. We will walk around the main squares and also through the medieval porched and narrow strets. If the market is open, we will enjoy the atmosphere of the local farmers selling fresh products to citizens and restaurants…(The market is open on working days 8 am to 2pm)
- Catedral -Main squares around the Cathedral: Obradoiro, Quintana, Platerias, Azabachería. -Main monuments (monasteries, unviversity buildings. . . ) - Visit the courtyards of Parador Hostal of Catholic Kings *****IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to hotel events there could be some entrance restrictions, so please check with me before booking this tour. - The local Market (if the tour is during working days from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ) - Medieval porched and narrow streets towards Alameda Park. *Before booking this tour, please check my availability by sending me a message by "Ask a question" as I might already have a last minute reservation. Walking tour. Most part of the historical town is pedestrian. Anyway, there are taxi stops nearby if you need this service after the tour.
