I've been a guide since 1996, when I started working as a tour director in different European countries. In the year 2000 I got my license as a local guide at Cantabria, region in Northern Spain. With my license I can guide at Santander, Santillana Del Mar, Comillas and all the charming villages in the area. I speak fluent English and Italian, also French and Portuguese. In the last years I've became more and more interested in Art, specially Prehistory, as Cantabria is one of the most important places in the world to enjoy Paleolithic Art, including 10 caves which are World Heritage Sites. Other interests are gastronomy and nature, I invite you to know the best places and enjoy the real taste of Northern Spain! I can adapt the tours to your special interests or desires, just let me know. My aim is my guests to live an unique experience; I'll be happy to meet you and show you my home. License as a Local Guide at Cantabria. License allowing me guiding Santander's cathedral. I'am allowed to guide at Altamira Museum, Santillana Del Mar church and Gaudi's Capricho building. The law at Spain doesn't allow me to drive passengers, that must be done by a professional driver with an special license. I can arrange tours with a hired car and driver.

Overview of your Santander tour
Let me share my passion and introduce you the first art of Humanity. Altamira cave was the first place in the world were Prehistoric rock art was discovered, back in 1879. The cave is know as the Sixtine Chapel of Prehistory, due to the beauty and quality of its paintings. Nowadays the cave is closed but the cave's replica allows the visitor to know more its art and to get introduced into the first stages of humanity. After Altamira, we shall meet at Puente Viesgo and visit two World Heritage Sites: Castillo and Monedas caves, where we will admire some of the best samples of rock art in the world, dated from 41. 000 to 12. 000 years Before Present.
