I've been a guide since 1996, when I started working as a tour director in different European countries. In the year 2000 I got my license as a local guide at Cantabria, region in Northern Spain. With my license I can guide at Santander, Santillana Del Mar, Comillas and all the charming villages in the area. I speak fluent English and Italian, also French and Portuguese. In the last years I've became more and more interested in Art, specially Prehistory, as Cantabria is one of the most important places in the world to enjoy Paleolithic Art, including 10 caves which are World Heritage Sites. Other interests are gastronomy and nature, I invite you to know the best places and enjoy the real taste of Northern Spain! I can adapt the tours to your special interests or desires, just let me know. My aim is my guests to live an unique experience; I'll be happy to meet you and show you my home. License as a Local Guide at Cantabria. License allowing me guiding Santander's cathedral. I'am allowed to guide at Altamira Museum, Santillana Del Mar church and Gaudi's Capricho building. The law at Spain doesn't allow me to drive passengers, that must be done by a professional driver with an special license. I can arrange tours with a hired car and driver.

Overview of your Santander tour
Our first stop will be at Comillas, where the best Spanish artists worked during the 19th century, do you want to know why? Join me in this tour and will tell you all about it! Sobrellano Palace, the Marquis' chapel or the Pontificial University are beautiful examples of Comillas's golden age. I remember the first time when, as a child, I saw el Capricho. I was totally amazed with this house covered with ceramic sunflowers! The house, designed by the genial architect Gaudí, is a building full of secrets that for sure will amaze you, and I'll happy to share! After a 20 minutes drive to Santillana Del Mar, we will walk the charming cobblestone streets enjoying the medieval atmosphere of , according to Jean Paul Sartre's opinion, "one of the most beautiful villages in Spain". Santa Juliana church is almost one thousand years old, it was declared a National Monument in 1889 and, visiting it, we will discover why it is considered one of the best examples of romanesque style in northern Spain
