I've been a guide since 1996, when I started working as a tour director in different European countries. In the year 2000 I got my license as a local guide at Cantabria, region in Northern Spain. With my license I can guide at Santander, Santillana Del Mar, Comillas and all the charming villages in the area. I speak fluent English and Italian, also French and Portuguese. In the last years I've became more and more interested in Art, specially Prehistory, as Cantabria is one of the most important places in the world to enjoy Paleolithic Art, including 10 caves which are World Heritage Sites. Other interests are gastronomy and nature, I invite you to know the best places and enjoy the real taste of Northern Spain! I can adapt the tours to your special interests or desires, just let me know. My aim is my guests to live an unique experience; I'll be happy to meet you and show you my home. License as a Local Guide at Cantabria. License allowing me guiding Santander's cathedral. I'am allowed to guide at Altamira Museum, Santillana Del Mar church and Gaudi's Capricho building. The law at Spain doesn't allow me to drive passengers, that must be done by a professional driver with an special license. I can arrange tours with a hired car and driver.

In 1879, a 9 year-old called Maria saw some paintings in the walls of the cave she was visiting with her father- "look, daddy, bulls!". Maria and her father, Marcelino, had re-discovered some of the oldest and more astonishing works of art of humanity. Although Altamira cave is closed to public, the replica is the best option to get introduced into the fascinating prehistoric world. After Altamira Museum, we will visit the charming village of Santillana Del Mar, characterized by its medieval atmosphere: we will go back in time just strolling around its cobblestone streets, buildings and manor houses from different historical periods. We will visit Santa Juliana church, the real origin of Santillana del Mar, a National Heritage monument. This church is considered one of the best examples of romanesque style in northern Spain. . . and is also a place with hidden secrets: curious? Choose my tour and you won't regret it!
