I've been a guide since 1996, when I started working as a tour director in different European countries. In the year 2000 I got my license as a local guide at Cantabria, region in Northern Spain. With my license I can guide at Santander, Santillana Del Mar, Comillas and all the charming villages in the area. I speak fluent English and Italian, also French and Portuguese. In the last years I've became more and more interested in Art, specially Prehistory, as Cantabria is one of the most important places in the world to enjoy Paleolithic Art, including 10 caves which are World Heritage Sites. Other interests are gastronomy and nature, I invite you to know the best places and enjoy the real taste of Northern Spain! I can adapt the tours to your special interests or desires, just let me know. My aim is my guests to live an unique experience; I'll be happy to meet you and show you my home. License as a Local Guide at Cantabria. License allowing me guiding Santander's cathedral. I'am allowed to guide at Altamira Museum, Santillana Del Mar church and Gaudi's Capricho building. The law at Spain doesn't allow me to drive passengers, that must be done by a professional driver with an special license. I can arrange tours with a hired car and driver.

Overview of your Santander tour
Let me share my passion. Nowhere in the world could I feel a deepest emotion as inside a cave with prehistoric Art. I started offering this tour to specialists in art and prehistory, but also to travellers who had travelled all over the world, and were looking for something exceptional. Since then, I could say this is my 'star tour'. To start with, we will visite Altamira's Museum and replica. It was 1879 when the discoverer of Altamira cave realized the paintings dated from Prehistory. Nowadays the cave is closed but the cave's replica allows the visitor to know more about the so-called Sixtine Chapel of Prehistoric Art. After Altamira, we will drive to two World Heritage Sites: Castillo and Monedas caves, where we will admire some of the best samples of rock art in the world, from 41. 000 to 12. 000 years Before Present. As a few visitors are allowed in every visit in order to preserve this fragile and unique art, you will find yourself in one of the most exclusive places you had ever visited
