When Robert Graves was looking for a place to settle and write, Gertrude Stein famously told him: “Mallorca is paradise — if you can stand it.” The island has its own rhythm, and it can only be truly experienced by moving at its pace. This unique quality is one of the reasons why Mallorca has inspired so many artists and creators over time. The deeper reasons, however, are something each traveller must discover for themselves. After guiding in Prague and Paris, I too found my paradise here where I've been living for the past 10 years. What I offer you is the opportunity to experience Mallorca from within, respecting the rhythm of the island. The experiences I propose range from curated highlights of Palma to my favorite bars for vermut and tapas or the best local shopping in the city, as well as outdoor activities that combine landscape and gastronomy. You are welcome to share your own ideas and expectations. Whatever you may have in mind, I am confident I can design a personalised experience that reflects your interests and the spirit of Mallorca.

An afternoon walk through Palma, gently leaning into the golden hour, is one of the most subtle and rewarding ways to meet the city. This proposal is designed either as a complete two-hour walking tour, or as a one hour introduction followed by a one-hour consultancy over a glass of wine in one of my personally cherished spots in Palma, to help travelers thoughtfully organize their stay - from local habits and hidden spots to practical ideas tailored to each traveler’s rhythm and interests. The walk unfolds through historic streets, small squares, and quiet corners where daily life continues beyond the postcards. As the sun lowers, façades turn warm, shadows grow longer, and the sound of footsteps replaces the midday noise. It is a moment suspended between activity and rest, when the city feels more intimate and more sincere.
It is not about rushing from monument to monument, but about learning how Palma breathes when the light softens and the pace begins to change. Ideally, the walk will pass by Es Baluard (Contemporary Art Museum) where we can enjoy the views from the old wall then continuing down along the so-called maritime façade towards La Lonja and the Cathedral — even if its interior is already closed at that hour — where the city opens itself to the sea and the light of sunset reflects on stone and water alike. The route itself remains fluid and intuitive, shaped by the interests, pace, and curiosity of each traveler, allowing the experience to unfold naturally rather than following a fixed script. The ideal starting time naturally depends on the season. In summer, the walk begins later, following the extended daylight and cooler temperatures. In winter, it moves earlier, embracing the brief but intense glow of the setting sun.
