Originally from Southern California, I have lived on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca (Majorca) since 1994. I consider myself a local and enjoy showing visitors what I love about Mallorca as though they were my family or best friends. Accompany me as we stroll through Palma's quiet, back streets, discovering the city's hidden corners away from the mass tourist areas. We'll talk with an artisan in his workshop and satisfy a sweet tooth in a traditional bakery. Looking for that something special? We'll drop in on the city's oldest shops, some of which are over 100 years old. From ancient to modern, in Palma, there is something for everyone! The visit is best during the morning since the markets are open until 2:00 pm, and closed on Sundays.
Gina was a terrific guide. She has an in depth knowledge of Palma’s history, architecture, culture and daily life. She guided us to all the most interesting sites via small, beautiful back streets avoiding the crowded tourist spots. We had a wonderful day. Gina was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Palma. She was very helpful to recommend local artisan shops to collect authentic souvenirs and waited patiently for me to shop! She knew some fascinating stories about the cathedral and spent more than the allotted time taking us around. Wonderful tour guide!

Gina is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and took us on a wonderful walking tour through Palma. Easy pace and we never felt rushed. We visited the local sights, including the sea front, the palace and an ancient olive tree. We visited a local market and saw the city from the perspective of someone living there. We visited an old bakery, and Gina pointed out the various architectural styles throughout the city. We stopped at the Basilica of Sant Miguel She shared lots of great information about the history of the city and its people. Gina kindly made reservations at a great local restaurant where she ended our official tour. She shared information how to easily get back to our ship. Overall, a great experience and Gina made our visit to Palma de Mallorca so much better
