Hola! I’m Raquel, and I’d love to show you the many wonders of this beautiful island. I’ve been working as a tour guide for over 20 years, and I still enjoy it just as much as when I started. Guiding isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. Over the years, it has given me unforgettable experiences and allowed me to grow not only as a professional but also as a person. My love for languages, travel, art, and history began early in life. I’ve always been curious and enthusiastic, with a natural passion for storytelling. As a child, I even organized little “tours” for my friends in the local park, proudly pointing out ant nests and tiny creatures I had learned about from my grandfather’s old Larousse encyclopedia. That same curiosity has taken me around the world. I’ve traveled widely across Europe and overseas, including Costa Rica, Australia, Indonesia, and Japan, and I’ve lived and worked as a licensed tour guide in Italy and the United Kingdom. Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of working with guests from many different cultures, which has taught me to be flexible, open-minded, and attentive to individual needs. I love being a modern-day Cicerone, helping people truly connect with a place through stories, shared experiences, and genuine moments. I’m always happy to tailor my tours to your interests, and I’m glad to help with travel arrangements or answer any questions you may have—even if they’re not directly related to a tour. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I hope to welcome you very soon to Mallorca!

Mallorca’s eastern coastline is renowned for its natural elegance—a mosaic of secluded coves, dramatic limestone cliffs, and crystal-clear turquoise waters beneath the Mediterranean sun. Beyond this idyllic scenery lies a far older story, taking us back millions of years to the Miocene era. Beneath the island’s surface stretches a network of more than two hundred limestone cave systems, slowly sculpted by water and time. Only a select few are accessible, and among them the Hams Caves stand out as one of Mallorca’s most remarkable karstic wonders. Named after their distinctive mineral formations resembling “hams”—the local word for fishhooks or harpoons—the caves reveal a rare underground gallery of delicate, branching structures found nowhere else on the island. Discovered by chance in 1905, the caves were the first in Mallorca to be illuminated by electric light and opened to the public. Today, they offer an unforgettable journey into the island’s geological past and the refined artistry of nature.
Your experience begins with a comfortable pick-up from the port or an agreed location in Palma, setting off along Mallorca’s scenic eastern coast. We travel to the charming harbor town of Porto Cristo, named after a legendary ship that reached its natural port in the 13th century. Enjoy a panoramic coastal drive past secluded coves, with a photo stop at Falcon’s Tower, a designated National Historical Heritage site offering spectacular views. Time is reserved for a relaxed coffee break overlooking the natural harbor and, if desired, a brief visit to the Mallorcan Pearls Factory Outlet. The journey continues to the highlight of the excursion: a guided visit to the Hams Caves, one of Mallorca’s most exclusive and visually striking underground wonders. After the visit, we return comfortably and on time to your ship, concluding a refined half-day experience designed specifically for cruise guests. This itinerary can be adjusted to suit your ship’s schedule and personal preferences.
