Hi! My name is Albert. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and I have been working as a Licensed Tour Guide for twelve years. I am a private guide that offers exclusive tours all over Mallorca and, specially, in its capital: Palma. Since I was a kid my passion has always been History. I am very enthusiastic for Palma because I believe my city holds one of the most important monumental sets in Europe: Palma's Old Quarter. Join me on a cultural itinerary across Palma's Old Town through which we will get to know the evolution of traditional recipes in the city as well as to discover the places in town that were main markets in the past. During our walking tour we will stop at some local taverns to taste some of the most famous Mallorcan appetizers. My husband and I had a fantastic day with Albert! He showed us the beautiful cathedral, where he imparted rich and interesting historical knowledge. During the food portion of the tour, we loved all of the choices and broadened our food repertoire. we had a fabulous time with Albert. We did indeed eat like a local! And he took us to a wonderful wine shop with a tasting that was terrific. We discovered a wine blend we love. We even stumped the sommelier trying to find something similar. We will have to return to do this again. Albert is a fantastic guide with so much knowledge about this wonderful island. Definitely a 5 star tour if you love touring like a local.

This walking tour is fantastic! Albert is a wealth of information and gave us a great insight into Palma's old town and history. The food stops were excellent, and a good variety of samplings. You will not go away hungry! The wine stop was great, and we learned a lot about the local wine industry. I highly recommend Albert and this tour for a great overview of Palma and it's regional specialties.

Highly specialized in savory meals that combine sweet dough filled with meat. - We will pay a visit to the Olivar Market, the first indoors market in the city. If the tour is in the evening, we will go to a local beer pub that has been open for 32 years. - We will go to the most popular tapas bar in the Old Quarter among locals. - We will have a wine tasting at a wine store in the old town. ***Please, read carefully: the port is not a meeting point for this tour.***

Hotel in Palma or Parc de la Mar (for cruise ship passengers): you need to take the shuttle bus from the cruise ship to the city center. The shuttle drops you off next to a breakwater called Escollera. Once you get off the bus, go towards the Cathedral (you will see it from where you are). Then, you cross the highway by the pedestrian light and you will be at Parc de la Mar already. Walk to the left as you are facing the Cathedral and the lake and you will see me by the Tourist Information Office.
