On this tour you will learn about different cultures and religions and I will explain you how they have influenced life in Mallorca, without forgetting today's local gastronomy (food and wine). I will take you to the beautiful countryside of Mallorca and we will visit one great winery. Enjoying the landscapes of Binissalem or Santa María, learning the history of the area and the wine making process with comprehensive explanations from local experts during the visit to a winery specialized in great red, rosé & white wines. Are you getting thirsty? After visiting the winery we will drive to Caimari or Soller, the best areas in Mallorca for the production of high quality virgin olive oil. The olive trees arrived in Mallorca more than two thousand years ago and has formed an integral part of the islander's lives ever since. Let me show it to you! We will go to Sa Tafona and learn about every stage of the olive oil making process, from the arrival of the olives to the extraction of the virgin olive oil.
What an amazing tour by Pedro introducing us to a 500+ year old olive oil production factory as well as a 100+ year old winery. We were lucky enough to taste both of these Mallorcan delights while also learning about the history and production. We highly recommend this tour with Pedro, who is one of the best tour guides we have every encountered.

Our second day in Mallorca with Pedro was another wonderful experience. We first visited a traditional olive oil mill and manor house in Soller that has been in the same family for over 400 years. We saw a video on how the olives are processed then toured the mill itself. Finally we enjoyed the olive oil on homemade bread, local tomatoes and almonds and fresh orange juice from their trees. Next we drove to the Jose Ferrer winery for a tour, tasting and lunch. A truly great day!
Pedro was fantastic! We did 2 tours with him and it was so enjoyable that we even booked an extra day since we had one day open. He knows all of the fun places, hidden places, and points out areas for exploring or dining out on your own. Could not give him a higher rating.

Pedro provided a well designed half day tour to the area wineries and olive production. We enjoyed the tour but would suggest that you use a microphone system in your vehicle so that all can hear more effectively.
- Drive to Binissalem or Santa María -Visit the winery *The winery will offer to a group of maximum 50 visitors a guided premium tour consisting on a tour that begins in the old part of the winery and finishes in the new part with its new processing plant. -Tasting of 4 selected premium wines with Quelitas (typical Mallorcan biscuits), and Menorcan cheese from Mercadal (Mahón) with grape jam. - Drive to Caimari or Soller -Visit Sa Tafona, olive oil making place. -You will taste the virgin olive oils produced at the mill. - End of the tour at meeting point as previously agreed. PLEASE NOTE - I am very happy to tailor the tour to your individual wishes and requirements. - This tour lasts approximately 4 hours. - The tour may vary depending on the weather conditions and the availability of the venues. - I recommend you to wear casual clothing, sunglasses and comfortable shoes. - Saturdays from november to february the winery is closed - Private transportation with bus/car and driver included.
