Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle- 6hrs Private Shore Trip from Koper

Peter was a fantastic guide during our day in Slovenia! We started with the caves, which were truly unlike anything I have ever seen — absolutely incredible. Even my teenager said they were cool, which says a lot! From there, we visited the castle, another incredibly unique experience, and finished the day with a wonderful meal. Throughout the tour, Peter shared so much about Slovenia, its history, and its culture. He was knowledgeable without making it feel like a history lesson, and he was pleasant and easy to spend the day with. It was a great mix of sightseeing, learning, and enjoying the country. We had a fantastic day and would absolutely recommend Peter to anyone visiting Slovenia!

Peter was punctual, communicated well before the tour, and made the day easy from the moment he picked us up at the cruise port. He was friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable about Slovenia's history. What made the tour especially interesting was Peter's personal perspective—having lived through the communist era, he shared his admiration for Tito and his views on how Slovenia has changed over the years. Whether or not you share his opinions, they added a unique and thought-provoking dimension to the experience. He drove us to the Postojna Cave, where we joined the cave tour, and then returned us to the ship on time. Peter was a wonderful guide. He was prompt, polite and professional. He gave us some fascinating background on the history of the Balkans on the way to the caves. After our visit to the caves he brought us to a local restaurant for some local cuisine, which was delicious! We really felt like we got a good understanding of this beautiful region. I would highly recommend Peter as a guide.

Really nice driver and vehicle. He created fantastic tour of a local winery situated on a mountain overlooking the vineyard and water. Fantastic views. This boutique winery provided great tasting of wines and olive oil. Then coastal drive to piron, a picturesque town for shopping, followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Finished off the tour with some history of the area and ice cream shop in Koper. We all enjoyed the day and would highly recommend our guide Peter (knowledgeable professional and very personable).

Peter was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about the history of his country. The caves were unbelievable! Great van, itinerary and Peter took us for an incredible lunch before dropping us off. We all had a great day.
