Peter was an excellent tour guide. His English is great. His knowledge of the area and country is immense. We had a great time. Although we have different backgrounds and different political views the conversations we had with him were engaging, interesting and respectful. Highly recommended.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, Peter was unable to conduct the tour himself due to a family emergency BUT Peter was the consummate professional and quickly arranged a ride with an alternate driver, William, who provided us with a wonderful day touring the Lake Bled/Ljubljana area. Thanks to William for a great tour and to Peter who showed so much concern to ensure that our trip was not negatively impacted. I would highly recommend that you consider Peter or William on your next trip in the Koper area.

Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful spots. The drive here from the cruise port was paved with beauty as well. Our guide became ill at the last minute but found us a sub who was very good. Wish we had been able to communicate with him before our tour to tweak it for a tour more tailored to our wishes. It was a great day. Good lunch in a quaint local restaurant at Lake Bled highlighted our day
Meet at the Koper cruise ship terminal. Drive 2 hours to Lake Bled through Slovenia’s scenic landscape. At Lake Bled, enjoy up to 120 minutes to explore at your own pace. Take an optional “Pletna” boat to the island, stroll the lakeside, enjoy a coffee, or capture photos of the stunning castle on the cliff. Meet again and take a short 15-minute drive to Bled Castle for a 15-minute photo stop. Continue with a 40-minute drive to Ljubljana. Drop off in Ljubljana old town to explore the charming medieval center for up to 120 minutes. Meet again for a relaxing 70-minute drive back to Koper cruise port. I can arrange a reservation in Bled or Ljubljana at a local family-run restaurant serving traditional Slovenian dishes.
