I drive a new Renault Traffic van, suitable fot up to 8 persons, so we can be flexible and make photo stops as wished. Private and group tours can be arranged to meet your needs and interests. I can of course, if needed, organize tours for bigger groups which includes renting a bigger vehicle/bus. Overview of your Koper tour
Departure from agreed point, driving to most captivating cave and largest cave in Europe - Postojna Cave. After entering you will experience ride with Postojna Cave's underground electric train. There you can see unique Karst cave formations made in billions of years. The Cave has special name - the Queen of the Underground World. Here you can see also olms - baby dragons, which are completely adapted to life in the dark. Do you have any idea why we call them human fishes? After visit there we will have short stop for coffee/snack break. Continuing to most photogenic castle in Slovenia - Predjama Castle. Castle has been perched in the middle of 123-metre - high cliff for more then 800 years. Here I will share with you legend of robber knight named Erasmus once lived in Predjama Castle. After photo stop our drive back will be through countryside, so you can admire real Slovenian feel - like we promote: Green piece of Europe. Back to starting point.
Your Koper tour itinerary
- Meet at your accommodation or Port of Koper. I will wait for you with awaiting sign with your name. Board a minivan. - Drive app. 45 min to Postojna cave. - Visit of Postojna caves - app. 1, 5h (guided tour+train). - After the visit we will have short coffee break. - Drive app. 20 min to Predjama Castle. - App 20 min stop for photos. - Drive back to starting point. If there will be still time possible stop app. 30 min for coffee break (optional: snack time/lunch - if time allowed). **In Postojna Cave there is approx. 10 degree C, jackets are required, please. This tour can be customized due to your preference, please ask me for a quote, and I will send you a customized tour for booking.
