I'd like to introduce you some of the most beautiful spots in my country together with a brief political and cultural history of Slovenia. I'm passionate about discovering new and exciting places and introducing them to people in a way, that is always fresh and different, willing to make an extra effort to make a person satisfied. Throughout many years of experience and study I've got a great knowledge about Slovenia & Adria region, its tradition, cultural legacy and its current position in Europe. I'm not not a stranger to an outdoors living as I experienced it a lot as a runner, scout, mountaineer, diver, sailor and fan of water sports. I can also be a good company over a glass of wine, that I know a great deal about. People say going places with me is a great joy and an memorable experience. Bled lake and Bled castle on a rock above it, together with the Alpine nature surroundings is like a fairy tale. We shall also stop for sightseeing in Ljubljana the capital on the way back. It's my hometown and I love history, so you may ask me just about anything you always wanted to know about this fabulous country and its capital. Also, expect some of my stories along a long drive - and don't bother to stop me too. Please note I'll be happy to change the actual route at any point - for this will be your private tour.
Trip was wonderful. Gorazd took us to places we never would have seen or been aware of on our own. We didn't feel like we were in a pack of tourists, but instead experiencing the beauty of the surroundings as locals. He was a conscientious driver. Fun to be with.

Gorazd ("George") was super! He regaled the 4 of us (2 couples) with his lively, articulate, fascinating historical, cultural, & political insights about Slovenia on the drive from our cruise ship at Koper to Lake Bled, where he curated some great photo ops & escorted us on a delightful wooden boat-ride to the iconic island's hilltop church. We then drove to the capital Ljubljana for an elegant and delicious canal-side lunch before returning us to the port. He was charming, gracious, and lots of fun.
George was a great guide and our family agreed he was one of the highlights of our 8 country 3 week trip. He was flexible, extremely informative, didn't rush and accommodated 3 different plans for 3 different groups of our 6 member family. We highly recommend him!
Suggested is: Koper - Bled - Ljubljana - Koper Please note: Itinerary shall be agreed upon your actual docking hours and depends on the weather and traffic conditions. Transportation in a private car business class to and around > Bled lake and back, up to the castle and to the traditional wooden boat for a transfer on the Bled lake island (optional). A visit to > Ljubljana the capital, time for a quick lunch. A short detour on the way back to see > Predjama cave castle. You shall still have some time to see the old town, > Koper, before embarking back to your ship.
