I live in Koper and still enjoy the town and its surroundings and Slovenia as a whole. Meeting new people with different backgrounds is always a great comfort for me. I am passionate about history and have good knowledge of minor and major tourist attractions in Slovenia. With broad array of interests I can discuss from economy, ancient history, culture and mythology. I enjoy sharing my love for my country further more I have travelled to many places. Mainly in Europe but also in south east Asia and north Africa due to my previous job as travel manager. During my trips I discovered many hidden gems of the places I have visited. Hence, now is my turn to be your guide in Slovenia. With my assistance we will unlock the beauties of my country. My idea is also to share tips and stories so you will have unforgettable memories and moments. I speak Slovenian, English, Italian and French and basic German. There are many sights to visit in Slovenia therefore if you have any special request I will do my best to set up a custom tour for you. So join me and enjoy the sights, stories and history of the Istrian region. The first stop is at the viewpoint above the town of Izola, an ideal place to enjoy the panoramic view of the Bay of Trieste and the blue Adriatic before we continue the day driving through the Strunjan Valley to the spectacular village of Piran. Piran is the oldest Slovenian town and one of the best preserved in the country. With its rich cultural heritage, narrow streets and charming Venetian architecture, Piran is considered a museum city, which makes it worth seeing. After the guided walking tour, you will also enjoy 1. 5 hours of free time to explore it on your own. The return to Koper is a pleasant panoramic drive that passes through the tourist resort of Portorož with a beautiful beach and numerous hotels.
