Connect with a kiwi – My name is Suzee and I am a very grateful Wellington tour guide. Ever wished you had a friend to meet you when you arrive in a new city, well, that’s me. I will help you make the most of your time in Wellington, connecting you with local places and stories that will be meaningful for you. As an artist, storyteller and passionate Wellingtonian, I connect with people and their stories. I laugh a lot, am naturally curious and keen to make a difference. I have been a private tour guide since 2017 (lucky for me), showcasing Wellington to visitors who wish to experience our fabulous city from an insider’s perspective. I am the owner/operator of a small boutique Wellington tour company with Jo D. Pick up and drop off is at your ship, accommodation or the airport. A bit about me - Wellington is my home. I arrived in Wellington in nappies (diapers, if you are from the US) at 6 months old. Other than six years living in the UK, I have been lucky enough to live in Wellington my whole life. I am a passionate traveler, having visited Scandinavia, Europe, UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Rarotonga and Bali. A lifetime highlight is seeing the entire night sky moving in the green waves of Northern Lights in Iceland. A qualified social worker, researcher and artist, I love having conversations about life, living in Wellington, travel, dogs and any other fabulous topics that typically come up at an entertaining dinner party. You can safely take me to most places 😊. What to expect: • Great communication from initial contact right through to tour day. • We will have fun, laugh lots, swap stories and get to know each other. By the end of the day, you will have a good sense of the city and what it is like to live here. • I will introduce you to the history, the people, the architecture and geography, the food and drink, the beaches and most probably, our infamous wind, a defining feature of Windy Wellington. Tour guiding is my happy place - I must be doing something right as we have more than 140 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor, and over 40 five-star reviews on Google. Do you have five or more people travelling together? Please message me. Together we can create a fun and fabulous Wellington day for all your friends and family. If I am unavailable, please check out Jo D, as I know she will also give you fabulous day out. Once you have booked, I’ll get in touch. And, if you would like, I can give you a call to talk through our day together. Get in touch to find your Wellington for a day.

Your interests + my local knowledge = one fabulous fun Wellington Highlights tour. Let me introduce you to my hometown. Wellington is the vibrant compact capital city of NZ, built on the hills surrounding our harbour, filled with incredibly passionate creative people. You will go where the locals go - the lookouts, the beaches, the inner city and the suburbs. We visit the must do sights yet take you to the quieter hidden spots enjoyed by locals (I’ll tell you later 😊). And let’s talk about other places you may want to go eg for arts, culture and storytelling. There is no such thing as too many questions, nor too much laughter. We will talk about all sorts of things & get to know each other. By the end of the day, you will have a good sense of life in Wellington. Passionate about food and drink? Me too. You will try local foods and drink throughout the day, and chocolate (a category of its own). Travelling with 5 or more people? Get in touch. I’ll design a tour just for you all.
