My name is Hanan. I was born and raised in the Atlas Mountains, a region known for its breathtaking landscapes, strong Amazigh heritage and deep-rooted traditions. Growing up surrounded by mountain villages, I learned from a young age the importance of hospitality & storytelling, as well as of connection to history and nature. Life in the Atlas Mountains shaped my character, teaching me resilience, openness and pride in my culture—values that I carry with me on every tour. I graduated from University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies, driven by my passion for communication and cultural exchange. That same year, I became a Licensed National Tour Guide accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Tourism felt like a natural path for me, as it allowed me to combine my love for history, languages and human connection while sharing the richness of Morocco with travellers from around the world. As a guide, I specialize in offering immersive historical and cultural experiences, always with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. I go beyond standard itineraries, bringing to life the places we visit through stories, local insights and authentic in site encounters. I think that what sets me apart is my personal approach—each of my tours is carefully adapted to the interests, pace and curiosity of my visitors, ensuring a meaningful and memorable experience. Being a woman in the Moroccan Tourism industry is both a responsibility and a source of pride. I am passionate about representing Moroccan women positively and professionally, and many of my guests appreciate the unique perspective I bring as a female guide deeply connected to both traditional and modern Morocco. My greatest motivation is creating unforgettable moments and genuine connections. I like to measure my success by the smiles, conversations and lasting memories shared at the end of each tour. My goal is simple: to ensure every visitor leaves Morocco with a deeper understanding of its culture, history and people—and with the feeling that they have truly experienced something special. My tours are flexible ,I can customize your tour according to your preferences.

The best way to get immersed in the essence to this amazing city is to book an evening food tour inside the medina of Marrakech! Throughout our 6 stops, I'll share what locals prefer to eat when they are out and about and how they traditionally mix different spices to obtain delicious tastes and flavours... which is why the average Moroccan usually eats at home most of the time! We will venture into one of the oldest food markets in Marrakech, where you can find delicious steamed couscous & various tagines (slow cooked stews, either vegetarian or with lamb or beef). I have personally hand-picked a selection of local food and beverages for you to taste the best of Moroccan cuisine, such as Tangia; the typical dish of the city, amongst other delightful treats to your taste buds. So are you ready to try some local Moroccan flavours and learn about local culture in the process? Please let me know if you have any food allergies or restrictions in your diet!
-Our first stop after we've gathered will be at a local food carriage to try the Moroccan Harira, a special soup made with lentils, chickpeas, tomatoes & other yummy ingredients. -We'll then step inside a small restaurant where we'll taste delicious Msemmen (traditional pancakes) served with fresh mint tea. -Next, we'll go into the Semmarine market to try olives. -Afterwards, we'll enter a local restaurant in Semmarine, where we'll have dinner upstairs, enjoying the traditional Tangia, a Marrakech specialty served in a clay jar, as well as the traditionally steamed vegetarian couscous (one of the main national dishes). -Next, we'll stop at 2 other Semmarine venues to taste dried fruits & Moroccan traditional cookies. -At last, we'll return to Jemaa el-Fnaa square to wrap up the tour with a glass of refreshing fruit juice. This tour can be customized to fit your preferences.
