Three Valleys Private Day Trip from Marrakech by 4x4 with Lunch in a Berber Home

5-star experience. Excellent local guide who was raised in a Berber village, with deep knowledge of Berber life and culture. Shared so much history in an engaging way. He was also incredibly flexible and adapted everything perfectly for my 12-year-old. Genuine, kind, and highly recommended.

Had an amazing day with Rachid. Comfortable SUV for the whole family was great, started with a beautiful drive out to the countryside to visit a market at the first valley. Tons of fresh fruits, nuts and goods for locals. Nice to see normal Berber community life for sure. Marrakesh is amazing, but seeing less tourism is a breath of fresh air. We stopped along the way for some pictures and just to take in the beautiful sunny day in the country. It was great to be able to stop for pictures or explore stores whenever we wanted, much better than larger tours found online. Our itinerary was Berber Market in the first valley, Earthquake damaged homes and villages, Argan Oil Cooperative, Gateway to the Atlas mountains village Imlil, visit and lunch at home. All throughout the day, Rahid did a great job of informing us about culture, history and local happenings. In addition, the route travelled for the day was truly spectacular, along rivers, through towns and finally in the town of Imlil. For us, it wasn't like we were on tour, running through a script of sites and stops. It felt like we were with a friend showing us all the amazing things about his country.

Rachid was delightful / a native of the Berber village we visited/ engaging and knowledgeable We departed Marrakesh ( cool & sunny ) 3+ hrs later high in the Atlas mountains (chilly and snowflakes) The scenery was special but the best part a delicious lunch at his cousins home The area is still recovering from the devistating earthquake but they are resiliant and hard working folks This is one of those tours that only rarely happen / much more then you imagine in the description The best of Morocco
