Marrakech Day Trip To atlas Mountains

Said is an excellent Tour Guide. He provided a superb vehicle that took the eight of us in great comfort on an unforgettable tour to the Atlas mountains. We stopped at a number of interesting sites where he pointed out (with great knowledge) everything that we should know about. The tour included a 90 minute hike over some fairly rough terrain, but he made sure that we took it gently and was always there to help when necessary. The hike finished in a Berber village where he took us into a house which provided us with a super lunch, beautifully cooked and presented. The chicken tagine was fantastic and was of a very high Restaurant standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Said as a knowledgeable and sympathetic guide.

Exceptional tour by a true Berber. Making us welcome & comfortable, learning the Atlas mountain history, seeing the earthquake destruction and rebuilding, meeting his cousins, shopping with his friends and eating his friend's wife's cooking was the exact experience we were looking for. Truly a "life memory".

Said treated us to an authentic Berber experience in a mountain village. There was no tour bus, no flag carrying tour host and no crowd. Said is a genuinely nice person who, for one afternoon, shared his hometown. I now have some appreciation for Berber culture and see the connection with it and the coal mining town I grew up in.

What a day! We had a half day tour in Marrakesh started with Said and then led by Suf. We honestly could not wish for more. Very informative and enjoyable. We saw the best shops at the market as well as the best places for food. Moroccan people are kind, hardworking and very welcoming. All our requests were taken care of. And we felt very happy at the end of the tour. Highly recommended! You will not regret!

A beautiful day in the mountains away from the heat and bustle of Marrakech. The scenery is beautiful and the lunch we had at the guest house overlooking the mountains was memorable. Thanks to Said for his friendly demeanor and warm personality.
