This is a special private tour to Sefrou Bhalil from Fes, arriving to Bhalil town you will notice and see troglodyte houses(caves) where some families are still using as homes , head to Sefrou city to visit the ancient Jewish neighborhood then continue to enjoy waterfalls, and cool air and diverse landscapes, at the end drive to the panoramic view up on a hill from where you can see the city of Sefrou. You won't regret this half day trip for enjoyable and unforgettable memories.
My husband and I had a great time on our trip with Aziz. He was very prompt and accessible through whatsapp ahead of time, and arranged a really fun day for us. It was nice to get out of the main cities and explore other areas, and Aziz was very patient with my propensity to stop and take pictures without warning!
I booked this tour last minute, but was quickly met with a warm email confirmation from Aziz. He was enthusiastic, kind, informative and patient. He and his touring partner gave us the loveliest tour of El-Bahlil and Sefrou. The village is like nothing I have ever seen, and Aziz did not miss a thing to share with us. The ride was comfortable, and Aziz went out of his way to make certain we saw different parts of Fez on our drive back to our Riad. I highly recommend.
Abdel Aziz is a very hospitable and friendly person who made our tour very memorable and enjoyable. He arrived very punctually in the morning, even with our last minute change of pick up location due to changing our place of stay. We were able to see some very lovely places thanks to Abdel Aziz, that we otherwise would not have known. Highly recommend!
Pick up 09:30 or 10:00am, - Drive south, through the Saiss plateau only about a half-hour away from Fez, - First stop Bhalil town where cave houses carved out of the mountainside play an important role in its urban architecture. - Next, We will have the rest of the day to explore many charms that the much larger town of Sefrou offers. - During the Sefrou tour, we will visit many diverse sites. - Explore the abandoned and collapsed Jewish neighborhood, the Mellah, in the middle of the old town. - The old town a bit, following the Oued Agay river gorge that cuts through and bridges that stitch back together with the center of Sefrou. - Visit a waterfall upstream from the old town, followed by an uphill drive to visit a panoramic viewpoint over Sefrou and its surroundings. - Last stop is the oldest neighborhood of Sefrou, the walled Kasbah. Back to fez hotel/riad This tour can be customized in case you have any specific interests!
