The best way to visit Fez, the cultural and the spiritual capital of Morocco, is on this private, with a local expert. I'll help you discover the history, culture and heritage of this 'Great City of Islam'. I'll accompany you to explore its walled medina, Fez El Bali, ripe with medieval architecture and old-world atmosphere. I'll also take you to see mausoleums and museums, plus the oldest university in the world — the Royal Palace of Fez — the Jewish Quarter and much more. To fall in love with my city and my culture, please join me on this tour!
Fez is one of Morocco's imperial cities and is always worth a visit. We will start by visiting : "The Mellah" which is the Jewish quarter, with the king's palace from outside, a synagogue, nice panoramic view of The Medina, and the ceramic area to learn about the blue pottery of Fes. The second part includes visiting Bab Boujloud Gate and marvel at its decoration of green and blue faience. Then, we'll Pass To Visit Together what is the oldest existing, continually operating and the first degree awarding university in the world according to UNESCO: Al-Quarawiyin. Move on around the narrow streets to explore more of the city and see the Al-Attarrin Medresa, the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts, Seffarrine Square where you will find traditional craftsmen going about their business. You will then also see Al-Batha Museum rich of old "Fassi" items. At the end of the tour you will have learned a lot about Fez and its history from your knowledgeable guide.
