Explore Fez City with your private tour guide

Had a great time! Hatim was awesome!!! He took us to places and explained them as a local, a tour guide, and as a Muslim. Very inciteful. Every place he took us in the medina to view a demonstration (pottery, leather, etc.) was informative....but never a hard sell. Yes the artisans are looking for a sale....but it was never pushed...and he made sure we didn't feel that way. Hatim also went out of his way to help us find a few things on our shopping list. So accommodating, helpful, and friendly....definitely book with Hatim!

What made the tour stand out was how personal it felt. He grew up in the Medina, so you’re not just getting a tour, you’re getting real insight into how people actually live there. He took us beyond just the main paths and showed us different parts of Fez, which made it feel much more authentic. He also brought us to a great local lunch spot we never would have found on our own. We learned a lot about the city, its history, and the people - couldn’t recommend this experience more!

His fluency in English is outstanding. Born in the Medina; raised in the Medina; University in Fes; student of the history and architecture of the city. We are so pleased with the day that we are doing a different tour with Hatim tomorrow.

Hatim was totally fantastic. For a day and a half in Fes, he provided a very full and detailed description of what he was showing us, and also the religious/historical importance it played in Fes' history. As a photographer, I was most interested in having a local person help me navigate to the various viewpoints to see the Chouara Tannery, which is almost a thousand years old. We went the first time in the afternoon of our first day, then in the morning of our second day. The images I was able to capture were exactly a I had hoped. I would not think there is any way of obtaining that level of access without a guide who grew up in the medina. Highly, highly recommend.
