Day Tour to fez Medina with Meryem

Fez is a city in northeastern Morocco often considered as the cultural capital of the country. It is mainly known for the fortified medina of Fez El Bali, with medieval Merinide architecture, lively souks and old-fashioned atmosphere. As you make your way through the streets of the Medina, you'll pass historic sites like the Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihria. You'll see the elegant Nejjarine Fountain and the nejjarine fondouk, a museum of arts and culture, with its lovely architecture . Visit to Chaouwara Tanneries. Continue with a visit to Souk Attarine, where you'll find pyramids of colorful spices, Berber carpets, leather goods, and other treats like homemade orange blossom water. Then to the copper streets to see copper Smith's and bronze Smith's. Then Visit Bab Boujloud, a massive triple-arched city gate decorated with geometric motifs in blue tile. When your tour draws to a close, I will walk you back to your accommodations. Or drive you back if you are outside of the old Medina
