Mexican Guide and Photographer Educated at the Universidad Nacional de Artes Plásticas in Mexico, my major is in Visual Arts, required that I took classes in all mediums, but always knew that guiding people thru my beloved Mexico was my passion. Now, I am a freelance guide in the Mexican's Wine country, having 12 years experience in Mexico and over 5 countries. I am Wine, Extreme sports, Mexican history, Shopping unic Mexican craftings, and Nature guide. Most of my guiding has been focused on outdoor adventures, tourist destinations, wine's industry and historic sites. I have also been hired as a freelance guide for mountain bicycling in Germany (Bavarian Country) and Spain (Balearic Island), in Mexico: Cancun, Cozumel, Hisla Mujeres, Los cabos, Loreto, La Paz, etc. Since boyhood, I had a passion for observing and recording the natural world and the people who inhabit it. During my teenage years, my interest in people and the wild was a consuming one, but it would be 8 years later before I picked up a camera in order to combine photography with guiding people. During the intervening years, I worked in various outdoors sports-related jobs such as water sports and rock climbing. I was attracted to these careers because they were risky and dangerous. They also taught me, first hand, how to capture the intense beauty of man in the outdoors. Later, as I matured, I developed techniques for portraits and weddings while living in Chicago, Boston and LA. Today, I devote more time to my own Guest House in Ensenada, Mexico. BD.Lic. Let’s experience Mexico’s wine country like locals do — tasting authentic Baja cuisine, sipping handcrafted wines, and meeting the people behind them. I still remember the first time I visited a family-owned vineyard, counting wine glasses as we went from one tasting to another, each one telling its own story. A true meeting place for wine and food lovers. Every year, chefs, travelers, and culinary enthusiasts make their way to Valle de Guadalupe, the heart of Mexican wine, to explore its vineyards, boutique wineries, and farm-to-table restaurants. Here, rustic charm meets creativity — from open-air kitchens serving local lamb and artisan cheese to intimate cellars offering aged reds and crisp whites born from Baja’s unique terroir. We’ll explore different wineries — each one offering a distinct taste of the region’s personality.
We’ll begin at your accommodation or meeting point and drive through the scenic wine route, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. We’ll visit 2–3 selected wineries where you’ll enjoy curated tastings of regional wines paired with artisan cheeses, olives, or local bread. During our culinary stop, you’ll taste Baja’s authentic cuisine — from fresh seafood and handmade tortillas to wood-grilled meats prepared by local chefs. The tour lasts around 5 hours and moves at an easy pace, designed for couples, friends, and families seeking genuine connection with the land and its people. After this experience, you’ll not only understand the wines of Mexico — you’ll feel their spirit. Customized itineraries available upon request.
