The tour was fun and interesting. We saw more than 40 species of birds, learned a lot about the local community, and finished the tour with a stop for local fish tacos and Mexican Cokes.

Come and enjoy a day of discovery with me! My goal is for you to have an amazing experience and learn a thing or two about our beloved Mexico, so you can tell the folks back home they can come and visit, too! Mexico is a place of wonders, where surrealism is genetically coded into its culture. This country is a great place to collect memorable experiences, have fun, and learn about one of the world's most diverse places. SO CLOSE, YET SO DIFFERENT!!! I have worked extensively in the Country, both as a tour guide and as an advisor for many rural communities. Whether its the wine country, Ensenada City, or it's natural surroundings you'd like to visit, I'm here to get you there and make it count! I was part of the editorial specialists in the first Accreditation for Specialized Guides in Adventure and Ecotourism back in 1994, which would later become the official NOM-09-TUR-2002 of SECTUR (Mexican Secretary of Tourism). Became accredited by the Federal Ministry of Tourism as Professional Guide in Environmental, Nature and Adventure Tourism (1999). I edited two of the Alternative Tourism Fascicles for SECTUR. I have designed and facilitated courses in many rural communities for the Natural Protected Areas and the National Forest Mexican Commissions, among others.

Because there is much more to photograph than LA BUFADORA! The peninsula of Punta Banda is guarantee of good photos, any time, every day. Although the area is known only for its famous Bufadora, the beauty of its coastline offers much more: its capricious line and steep gorges are surrounded by an assortment of beautiful native plants, amazing bird hotspots and ecologically important estuaries. HIGHLIGHTS: - Birding hotspots - Exceptional panoramic landscapes, special for nature photography - California coastal sage and chaparral scrub ecosystem - Possibility to observe marine fauna (gray whale while in season) - Optional shore fishing or picnic at an isolated beach (extra cost)

March 1, 2025 This tour was part of a Wisconsin Professional Photographers workshop. Jamie from the WPPA was leading this group and met Lizette and Inti by researching Tours by locals. The care they took and customizing this tour for landscape and wildlife photographers was outstanding. Lizette lined up Isabel and Enrique for our birding guides. They met us at the birding location and were set up and waiting for our arrival. They both were very knowable and took us around a very beautiful preserve. Inti met us by the flag pole and he did do his homework. He walked up to me and said you must be Jamie. We had such a wonderful time and felt very secure and I loved how flexible they were. We spent all our time exploring the area and decided to skip lunch. I am looking forward to returning some day and working with them again.
Lizzette was one of the most kind and hospitable guides we have ever worked with. She worked with us in advance of the tour to meet the needs of our family. We did a wonderful rustic hike where she shared lots of accurate information about the region, flora and fauna. Then we headed down to the ocean for some fishing where all my kids caught some fish. Her fishing helper Jonathon was very kind as well. We ate a organic local lunch and had a wonderful tour. Must DO!!
Lizette was amazing! She helped us organize the most amazing day. Beautiful, quiet beach for our family. A van with baby seats. She brought paddle boards for the kids and even swam out with 2 of our older adult kids. We learned so much from her and the private wine pairing was amazing. This was one of the best TBL tours we have ever done! She was lovely and flexible. Hope to come back again for a longer stay as this was just a stop on a cruise ship. We loved Ensenada & Lizette.
Lizette is an absolutely amazing guide. She's not only extremely friendly and personable, but also extremely knowledgeable on the culture and geography of Mexico. Our tour was based around location scouting, but we ended up getting much much more out of it. Not only that, she seems to have friends in every part of town so if you're looking for unique or special experiences I have no doubt she can help facilitate that for you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lizette at all!
This was a great tour for me and my family, who were on a cruise to Ensenada. The hike was beautiful and not very difficult. The picnic that Lizette provided was perfect . Lizette was very knowledgeable about everything and such a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are in Ensenada. Skip the more touristy places, and get some fresh air and beautiful views!
This is a good example: - 9:00 am. Meet at hotel or hospitality location - 10:00 am. Start panoramic hike / birdwatching experience - 12:30 pm. Picnic at insolated beach (depending on the site, we've got mountain or estuary) - 2:00 pm. Head back to Ensenada City

I have a Safari Van for 8. If your party is larger or you'd rather a fancier transportation, I can rent a Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter
Prolongación Castillo, Ensenada, Baja California, 22800, Mexico
Right at the huge flagpole outside the cruise port, to the left over the pedestrian bridge. It usually has a beautiful Mexican flag. The plaza is called "Ventana al Mar"
