Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Maurice, I am an energetic and enthusiastic tour guide based in Nairobi, Kenya. With over 15 years of experience organizing and guiding tours in Kenya, you are guaranteed an experience of a lifetime. My city has a lot to offer in terms of history, e. g The Karen Blixen Museum, Author Out of Africa to Culture, home to the famous Masai Mara and of course animals, the Big 5. For these reasons, I love my country for its beauty and the people. For their warm nature and it gives me great pleasure to share my joy with one and all. I am able to be flexible in what I can deliver, my tours are fully customizable. If you don't see what you like, let's talk about it. This experience is about you and I am here to listen and assist. Although I enjoy my job, I would like to learn more about my country and spend my time reading about all its different aspects that I can share with you. A day tour to Nairobi National Park located in south-central Kenya, about 5 miles (8 km) south of Nairobi. It was Kenya's first national park, established in 1946. The park's climate is dry, with hot and dry weather from January to March, hot and wet weather from April to June, and very warm and wet weather from July to October. It is 117.21 square kilometers (45.26 square miles) in size. This makes it smaller than most national parks in Africa. The Park boasts of all the animals except Elephants due to its small size. Visiting Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre allows you to learn about the efforts to protect and rehabilitate orphaned elephants, feed a giraffe and learn about the conservation efforts of these endangered animals.
6.00 Am pickup from your hotel in Nairobi and head to Nairobi National Park. Enter the park and embark on a 4-hour game drive. Keep an eye out for the park's diverse range of animals, including rhinos and lions. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, which is only open for a short period each day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. Get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to reintroduce them back to the wilderness. After this, have about an hour for lunch (own expense) before proceeding to the Giraffe Centre. See the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. Learn about their behaviors, traits, and more conservation education. To cap the visit, get the chance to feed them and maybe get a giraffe kiss. To be dropped at the hotel at 6.00 Pm.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
