Where to begin! Rosebell was absolutely wonderful, knowledgable and is now family. We completely changed up the tour and visited a School, an Artist Village, went to the Kazuri Bead Factory and visited with Sammy and his family to learn about the authentic Maasai necklaces, as well as made our own. Sammy & Martha are now family as well. We are all about culture when we travel. The day was just wonderful, with an authentic lunch included. Rosebell is very connected within the community of Nairobi and was a pleasure to be with. Although we had our safari booked with someone else, I would not hesitate to book a Safari with Rosebell. This tour is tailor made around the cultural activity of the Maasai in jewelry making. Our host Sammy is a jeweler and makes authentic Maa beads in his workshop on the scenic slopes of Ngong hills supporting 100 women and youth in his community. Passionately featured on 'LOVE IS PROJECT ' Every bead and color in maa culture has a story behind it and he will take us through it. During his interaction we shall make a bracelet which in return you will take away with you as a souvenir. This tour can be combined with so many other activities in Nairobi.
