Overview of your Nairobi tour
The word Nairobi means cold water in Maasai language, it's the capital city of Kenya and a spring board to Eastern Central and Southern Africa. The city has numerous landmarks and monuments of historical interests. Basically this is a walking tour around Nairobi. We will visit places of interest according to clients' requirements. For those interested in architect we shall extend the tour to Nairobi upperhill area which has most interesting modern building designs. Within the city center we shall also have a stop over at KICC for a 360 view of the city. If it's of interest and time allows we may stop at the national Archives and City market amongst other places. During this tour I will definitely help you capture the spirit of Nairobi City.
Your Nairobi tour itinerary
I shall pick you up from our hotel at 0900hrs in the morning. Our tour will start with visiting City park Market in parklands. A vibrant hub known for its local crafts, fresh produce, and cultural atmosphere. Afterwards we shall visit the railway museum where we get to learn about Nairobi's origins and the significant role the railway played in its development. Entrance fees USD6 From here the driver will drop us off at National Archives a murumbi Gallery where art brings cultue alive from different parts of Africa. From here we shall leisure walk through the city view important monuments and buildings, including the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). Lunch shall be at a local restaurant showcasing different foods across Magical Kenya. If we so wish dessert can be at the oldest Ice cream Parlor in Nairobi – Snow cream. Drop off at your hotel
