I am an extremely enthusiastic traveler and safari guide very dedicated to experiencing the variety that the world has to offer. With Several years of exposure in Kenyan and by extension East African safari scene, working and guiding people from several walks of life I consider myself experienced and with the right passion and knowledge to deliver a dream safari to clients. I have handled some of the largest tourist companies or organizations in Kenya, the most recent being the government department managing national parks in the country. I have great exposure working with local communities as well; maasais etc. I am very easy to mingle with and with the ability to speak several local languages. I have had the pleasure to work with communities in all major tourism circuits in the country and beyond with extensive knowledge of the premium parks in Kenya such as; the Maasai Mara, Samburu, Nakuru, Nairobi Tsavos et. I am looking forward to planning and guiding more tourists as I make new friends and acquaintances in the process. I am a continuing student of Masters in International studies-Kenyatta University. I hold a degree in Media and communication Majoring in public relations and advertising- Mt. Kenya University I am also a holder of a diploma in travel and tourism management-Nairobi Aviation College I am a bronze member of Kenya professional safari guides association-Membership number 2424 of the year 2008. I have always been fascinated by the idea of yoga in the bush and beach. No interruptions from the usual daily activities and having a great time to retrospect has always been a great idea. This is my definite go to safari with my wife and daughter after long duration of work plus the beach does offers great opportunity to plan for future engagements. This tour also offers the experience of the exotic safari destinations starting in Nairobi, with a short stint in Tsavo's -Finch Hattons hotel. Then finally to the Yoga capital of Kenya that is Lamu islands on the Kenyan coastal regions.
Suggested and flexible itinerary: Day 1: Nairobi Visit to the Nairobi Yoga Project offices. Day 2: Nairobi - Tsavo West National Park, 5 hrs drive Enjoy great yoga moments with some of the best instructors in Kenya while partaking in game drives and other bush activities. Day 3: Tsavo West full More yoga moments and game drives under the hot temperate Kenya skies. Day 4: Tsavo-Nairobi-Lamu, flight 3hrs We will take a flight transfer to Nairobi for an onward transfer to Lamu island and a boat transfer from Manda airstrip to the hotel. Enjoy beach moments and briefs for subsequent yoga sessions. Day 5: Lamu full day Indulge in the depth of Afro-Asian yoga, learn its history and the local poses. Some beach time later on in the day. Day 6: Lamu full day. Today we will do yoga followed by trip to the Swahili villages to experience Swahili culture and art. Day 7: Lamu full day More yoga, arts and culture experience. Day 8: Lamu-Nairobi, 1. 5 hrs flight Transfers and boat rides are included in the package.
