Private Tour: From Trieste to Bled and Ljubljana Shore Excursion

A picture perfect day is how I would describe our time with Demian. The drive from the Sea into the Julian Alps was beautiful, the fall colors and mountains that had been recently dusted with snow set us up for a fantastic day. Demian was an excellent guide sharing the culture and history of Slovenia and the region. Ljubljana is a beautiful city with rich history, architecture and culture. We walked through the historic center to the Dragon bridge, and into the gorgeous Cathedral of St Nicholas. After a break to enjoy coffee and local pastries we headed to Lake Bled. Based on our conversations, Demian suggested we might like to stop at Mary Help of Christians Basilica the largest pilgrimage church in Slovenia, so special! On to Lake Bled for a tour around the stunning lake! I highly recommend Demian as a guide. He is an excellent and safe driver and a very nice man. Thank you Demian!

My husband and I had a delightful time with Damien. He give us choices on what to do at each site, and some alone time, if we wanted. Which I appreciated. We both were very interested in the history of the country and enjoyed his views and perspectives. I would highly recommend him!

Demian was excellent, he picked us up on time, was even there early, explained a lot to us about the Slovenian culture, history, economics, and demographics.. Ljubljana was beautiful and terrific, we got to see the Government buildings, cultural institutions, we took the funicular to the castle and climbed to the top of the tower. Overall, a really great trip I highly recommend to all. And it is a trip you should do with Demian , who was excellent at making his country and his culture live.

Demian is an excellent guide. He went out of his way to ensure that we could make the most out of our limited time and gracefully accommodated all of our needs and requests for changes in the itinerary. His use of a small microphone in the car made it possible for those in the backseat to hear everything he said and not feel like they were missing out.
