Taormina & Castelmola Delight

Join me on a journey through Taormina, one of Sicily's most enchanting destinations, where history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes meet. As your archaeologist guide, I will lead you through its rich past, from Greek foundations to Roman and medieval influences. This detailed tour will give you a comprehensive look at Taormina’s fascinating blend of ancient and medieval history, all while enjoying stunning views and architectural beauty. After Lunch we will head uphill to the picturesque village of Castelmola, a charming medieval village offering one of the most breathtaking panoramas in all of Sicily. From its natural balcony, visitors can admire sweeping views of Mount Etna, the Ionian Sea, and the Calabrian coastline.

Meeting point at Messina Gate We begin our tour with a walk through the elegant streets of Taormina. We will visit the impressive Ancient Greek Theatre (tickets not included). We will explore the charming Corso Umberto, admire Piazza IX Aprile with its stunning view of Mount Etna and the bay, and we will walk till Catania Gate. Lunch break in Taormina or Castelmola Transfer to Castelmola, above Taormina. Walk through its quaint alleys, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the coast, and perhaps stop at the famous Bar Turrisi for a taste of almond wine.
