My husband and I strongly recommend Mimmo. He knows a vast amount about the history, architecture, and culture of Sicily. Mimmo is well-organized, an excellent communicator, and has a great sense of humor. He drives an extremely comfortable and roomy Mercedes which can transport at least five people. We were based in Catania and were able to experience Agrigento, Mt. Etna, Taormina, Siracusa, Noto, and places in between. And Mimmo's restaurant recommendations were very good, too! Memorable time!

Your Taormina tour itinerary
Day 1: From Taormina drive up till 6500 feet on Mt. Etna. Soak up the atmosphere as you walk at the nearby Silvestri Craters. In the afternoon visit the hilltop village Savoca, among the Godfather movie locations (or enjoy an optional special Home Hosted Wine & Food Experience). Night in Taormina. Day 2: Start for Syracuse. Visit Ortigia (the old city center) and Neapolis (archaeological area) with the Greek Theatre and more. Continue to amazing Noto, the baroque capital of Sicily. Night in Ragusa. Day 3: Depart for Piazza Armerina to visit the famous Roman Villa del Casale with its unique well preserved floor mosaics. Night in Palermo. Day 4: After breakfast start a Walking Tour (3h) in the old part of Palermo. Visit also the Cathedral in Monreale. Night in Palermo. Day 5: Discover the archeological area in Segesta and medieval Erice. Night in Palermo.
