I am a licensed guide in Ravenna and Emilia Romagna. I was born in Ravenna and I love my job very much. It gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I can talk about the monuments in town, showing them not only the famous and gorgeous mosaics but also revealing hidden corners of the fascinating city of Ravenna. The mosaics of Ravenna are spectacular! Visiting them has been on my bucket list for years. Cinzia was a fantastic guide! Her knowledge was extensive and she provided a lot of historical context for both the mosaics and the City of Ravenna itself. We had a super hot day and she was able to adjust the pace to reflect that; she also slightly changed the order of what we saw to avoid some larger crowds. We would totally recommend Cinzia for your visit to Ravenna.
Cinzia gave an awesome tour of the Mosaics of Ravenna. She is so knowledgeable and well spoken. Ravenna is an easy walking town. The 5 main highlights are all close. The mosaics are incredible, along with Cinzia. We had a great day.

Cinzia was an excellent guide during g our time in Ravenna. She has a great knowledge and understanding of the important sites, especially of course the Early Christian Mosaics which were astoundingly beautiful and a must see. I would absolutely tour with Cinzia again and highly recommend her for any type of grouping.

The visit of 2 hours includes: •Church of S. Vitale commissioned by the Emperor Justinian of Byzantium. In the mosaics here he is masterfully depicted with his fabulous wife Theodora. •Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, A powerful building created to honour the resilient and colourful empress of the Western Roman Empire. •Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo which was the private chapel of the Ostrogoths King Theoderic. A guided walk through the old city centre.
