My driver will pick you up at the port of Ravenna or at your accomodation in Ravenna, and then he will take you to the city center, where I will be waiting for you. Then he will transport us from a monument to another with ease and comfort. We will get out of the car at each location to visit the interiors of the following 4 UNESCO sites: the Church of St. Vitale, which stands out for the magnificence of its architecture and decorations; the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, one of the most evocative places of the Early Christianity; the Church of St. Apollinare Nuovo, where there are preserved some of the most iconic byzantine mosaics in the world; the Neonian Baptistery, the finest and most complete surviving example of an Early Christian baptistery. This tour includes a visit to the tomb of Dante Alighieri, the great poet, best known for the monumental epic poem the Divine Comedy.
