This tour includes a visit to the following UNESCO monuments: Church of St Vitale: a masterpiece of religious art and architecture, this basilica stands as a beacon of the Byzantine Empire's enduring legacy; Mausoleum of Galla Placidia: step into a chamber of celestial wonder, where the stars seem to descend upon you from the night sky captured in mosaic; Church of St Apollinare Nuovo: home to some of the most celebrated Byzantine mosaics in existence; Neonian Baptistery: a masterpiece of early Christian art, featuring a solemn representation of the baptism of Jesus. Church of St Apollinare in Classe, regarded as one of the greatest basilicas of its era. It is located outside the city center. My driver will take us there. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the tomb of Dante Alighieri, the renowned poet best known for his monumental epic poem, 'The Divine Comedy'.
