Over 300 historical houses were built in the hills of Lucca between the 16th and 18th century by the rich silk merchants as country residences. The tour lasts approx 4 hours and includes Villa Torrigiani in Camigliano with its gardens and stunning interior (visit allowed on the ground floor only), and Villa Reale in Marlia. The house can't be visited but the park is simply magnificent.

You will be able to learn the history and the stories of these places and their past owners but, as I'm a local girl, you will also get some modern gossip.
Other villas in the area are open to the public, so I can easily arrange a different itinerary based on your specific preferences.

Lucca can boast an extremely rich musical tradition. Among the many musicians who were born here none, without doubt, is as famous and loved as Giacomo Puccini.

Puccini's birthplace has recently been reopened to the public after an intricate court case. On show are portraits, a rich collection of letters, his Steinway piano, an amazing theatrical costume for Turandot and much more.

I studied the piano for many years until I realized I had no talent for playing. However, music still remains my main interest and my studies turned out to be a great asset. But I'm sure that besides the innovations and technicalities of Puccini's music you will want to hear about his private life, which was rather turbulent for those days, scandalous in fact!

We'll kick things off at Piazzale Michelangelo, where I'll show you the most stunning panorama of the city—perfect for those Instagram shots! Then, we'll head to Piazza Signoria. From there, you can't miss the Uffizi Museum, designed by Vasari for Cosimo I in 1560, a real showstopper from the 16th century. If you want to visit, let me know so I can snag us some tickets. I will be proud tho show the real Pisa, I will be guided you through the back streets , past magnificent Tower Houses, we will admire the great riverbanks, the square markets, secret lanes, gourmet shops and the Ice Cream Shop elected one of the 10 Italian best ice cream. Pisa a university city, one of the oldest university in the world. The Place where Galileo Galilei was Born and the only place in Italy who Keith Haring painted an affresco.
And step by step, admiring this unknown town we will arrive at one of The 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Tuscany are The Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa [since 1987]. We will visit the Square and we will admire the Leaning tower and her history.

Today we will spend a full day in the Cinque Terre.
We will reach the city of La Spezia, the largest city before entering the Cinque Terre National Park. It is an amazing drive where different landscapes will capture your sight.
I will stop along the way for photos of the bay of La Spezia and near Riomaggiore for an amazing view of the Cinque Terre coastline. Our first stop will be Manarola where I will help you to catch the ferry to Vernazza. Free time both in Manarola and Vernazza for pictures and shopping! (In case of rough sea you might opt to take the local train). After exploring Vernazza we will head to Corniglia, my favorite town where we will stop for lunch. I will reserve a table in a local restaurant for you! After lunch we will explore Corniglia and a gelato at "Alberto's" is mandatory!!
On the way back I will show you other interesting sights.

With your private chauffeured minivan I will wait for you at your accommodation/harbour; there is 1h15 driving from Livorno to Florence, and 1h30 from La Spezia to Florence. During the journey I will comment you all you what you see through the car windows, introducing what is Tuscany.

Once arrived in Florence, we will make a stop on the panoramic terrace Piazzale Michelangelo, and then we will go down still by car straight to the city center, to visit the Florence historical center.

After the lunch time, we will drive to Pisa (1h15) and we will stop at the feet of the Leaning Tower. I will describe you the fantastic simbology of this square, called miracle square.

We will come back to your accommodation/harbour: for Livorno: 45 mn, for La Spezia: 1h.

Come with me to explore this beautiful coastal landscape of Cinque Terre, definitely one of my favorite!

Your tour will begin with a drive to Riomaggiore, the first of the five towns. I will walk with you to the center of the small village, have a coffe together and give you maps, information, etc. for spend a lovely day on your own. From here you will be ready to independently explore the other village known for their charming streets, pastel houses and beautiful landscapes over the sea.

You will have the option of walking to the next town via the famous "Way of Love " or you may choose to travel by train or by boat, the only options to travel between the Cinque Terre (cars are banned!).

Once you arrive in Manarola, you may freely explore the town. Be sure to venture to the top of Mararola where you will see the church whose bell-tower once served as a lookout for potential pirates.

Continue the visit of the remaining towns. Meet at the end of the day in the last village Monterosso at 4. 30pm
