Alessandro was fantastic! We came thinking the tower was going to be the main focus, but in reality he made the city Pisa our favorite tour of the week. It was a most enjoyable experience.

Many Americans I spoke with said Pisa is just the leaning tower and everything else is boring and should be skipped. Alessandro is a native of Pisa and you can tell that his love for this city he is excited to share. We arranged a "customized" trip from Florence and took the train. We are a family of four with college aged kids who wanted to see the Tower of Pisa as well as the Basilica. But, we also enjoyed combining this with some local spots for light fare, drinks, gelato. He did an awesome job with the history and arranging our tour. He was very kind and thoughtful…Not rehearsed like some! We highly recommend him!
